Boom town

A recent report by the Department of Sustainability and Environment shows that property prices in Venus Bay rose significantly while many other towns and suburbs fell from 2006 to September 2007.

The median house price in Venus Bay in September 2006 was $182,500. This fell to $162,500 by June 2007. By September 2007, the median rose sharply by 15.7% to $188,000.

Contrast this with pricier Inverloch with a fall of 13% from June to September 2007.

Can you imagine how property prices would shoot through the roof if a bridge was put up between Inverloch and Venus Bay
